Daily Prompt: Mirror, Mirror
Look in the mirror. Does the person you see match the person you feel like on the inside? How much stock do you put in appearances?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us MIRRORED.
Great question put forth by the Daily Prompt. I would have to say most days as I get ready, in front of the mirror and I see myself in the harsh light of day, I am exactly who I appear to be but once I step out of that bathroom and begin my day I am so much younger and still full of dreams yet to come. I stay out of that room as much as I can so I guess I would say in the end I place no stock into who I see in the mirror of mine.

I loved your answer – mine would be very similar! I do my best to look decent in the morning, but don’t bother checking later in the day… I have been know to visit neighbours with twigs in my hair and coffee stains on my shirt! LOL!
Same here gorgeous as I used to climb into my rig and by the end of a 16 or 18 hour day you would not recognize me :) One person in town who saw me late one night run into a tiny market thought I was a filthy homeless person :) I told her she needed to see the real world a little more where people actually got their hands dirty :) Just me keeping it REAL!!! We became best friends for a very long time :)
When we were 16-20 it was about being put together and as we grew into who we were it became comfortable and I must say the more comfortable I became with who I was the more attractive I seemed to get lol not cute like at 20 but so sure of what I wanted I have never lied about my age I am just grateful I made it this far :) lots of close calls :) Did not hurt I could handle a Harley and a Semi :) I do enjoy aging just wish it were more graceful :) Have a wonderful weekend ours will continue to be brutally cold.
I too like your answer. I wish I had the same feeling as when younger where I would spend time getting ready to meet the day. Now it seems like a waste of time.
:) I try to put my best foot or face forward in AM then I also get filthy as well Dog, Cat and gardens get my full attention :)
