If you are on Facebook maybe this will work. I wanted to share the beauty of the snow and cold, which it seems Brady loves. No wonder he races into the house with ac on in August. This boy acts like he is a Husky.
Gardens are but a memory at the moment.
It’s a lot of work for this 69 year old woman these days
The snow blower is for sale it is useless on dirt and rocks. Brady loves when I leave piles for him to lay on. So now I use the bucket and the grader on the back of the John Deere tractor.
The birds loved all the seed and attention today. Yesterday I had a gorgeous Bobcat poking around but camera was not close by to snap a photo. Photo is from from internet for those who have never seen one. I had that one injured by a car a few years back I blogged about. This one is very healthy.
I will try to keep the camera with me when I plow the snow we are receiving right now.
This is what they dine on. Now wonder I see less and less rabbits here.
Lagomorphs (rabbits and hares)
Rodents (mice and squirrels)
Other small mammals
Birds
Occasionally deer
It can have all the rodents it wants just leave the birds alone.
Tomorrow more snow shots for those who never see it.

Stay safe out there. I hope your husbands heart is healthy. After Ron’s 4 way heart surgery I want him no where near a shovel but once the scan is completed on me I may be forced to do things differently.
Yes, his heart is healthy. He had an echo cardiogram a few years ago. I expect that at some point, we’ll need to hire someone to do snow removal.
I had an echo but odd things can still happen both of you pace yourselves xx

The snow sure has been pretty, and light to move, thankfully. Now comes the deep freeze! Stay warm!
Yes so they say, for 2 days then a break and a nasty cold weekend. Stay bundled up I better check my propane tanks to make sure I have enough to get through it.
The ways of WP are a permanent mystery so I sympathise, but this came through loud and clear, and very good it was too. I like your snowy scenes even though they mean hard work for you.

Oh it is gorgeous now it will go and stay below 20F
I think our total for 2 days worth was fluffy 8-11 inches. So easy to move with the tractor but I am out in the elements so I take a beating. Maybe I can get some sunrise shots against the pretty clumps of snow. Going to breakfast with a friend and fellow garden club member I will bring the camera and see if I can find something cool to share.
