Let’s see. I used 3 pigments and white this time.
Indigo, Hooker Green and Cad Yellow.
I started with lines of pigment, onto a dry sheet of 140cp Fabriano, using a palette knife.
I picked up a bottle of water. It sprays a fine mist. I just let the first layer paint itself.
I came back in with the white when it was almost dry. and them to get dark’s and lights play well together, I added some interest into the foreground.
A few minuets with my head bowed and letting go, took the stress levels down to zero.
Happy New Year Everyone,
Eunice
ps. Now time to plow again and wait on the Sunday night, nasty mix :) Time to paint again.

🤍
I love the painting! My husband is dreading clearing the wintry mix.
I thought about leaving this crap on the ground then though I better move it in case it really does hit 40 then again it will drop to 14 :( at lease I can watch the Pats at 1:00 and finish Shawshank for book group in January. Be careful out there.
A delightful way to relieve stress.
Too cold to do anything here. I did sit out in the cold and pushed snow with the large tractor it still took 2+ hrs. each cleanup and then inside to warm up and paint.
Beautiful. I love White Birches and the ontrasting colors are wonderful.
Thank you so much I love trees and Willows and Birch are my favorites.
