I saw a Call for Art at the New Hampshire Artist Association, in Portsmouth NH.
Jon from Image Arts framed many pieces for my town’s library art show. So, I decided to enter three of mine into the mix. The theme was OPEN.
All of our New England’s artists were asked to enter up to 3 pieces in this Juried Show. Actually my first Juried event. Below are reasons others enter.
“Juried art shows are exhibitions where artists submit their artwork to be reviewed by a panel of jurors. The jurors select pieces based on artistic merit, creativity, and adherence to the theme of the show. These shows give artists an excellent opportunity to gain exposure. They can receive feedback. Artists may also potentially win awards or cash prizes.”
I received word yesterday, when I arrived home after work, that one of mine will join 71 other pieces. The number of paintings, photography, drawing etc. entered was 398 for this upcoming, November show, in Portsmouth NH.
New Hampshire Art Association’s NHAA Call for Entry – Nov 2025-Dunfey is the show that had an open theme. Which fits for me, as I never know what will be my end product.

Now to get this framed for the show by the November 2nd drop off date. I posted it for $425 and they will take 40% of any potential sale, as well as my $40.00 entry fee.

To everyone who has followed me through this journey, thank you. I appreciate all the kind words of encouragement you have given me on my adventures. xo
For any locals, the show will have an opening reception, on Friday, November 7, 2025. Hours will be from 5-8 pm, but will continue to be on display through the end of the month, should you find yourself holiday shopping in this beautiful city.
Eunice

Congratulations, Eunice! How long will the exhibit be up for?
I drop it off on the 2nd, opening night is the 7th First Night art showing and then pick-up is in the end of November.
Thanks!
Well done. It is chance occurrences that bring the most joy as they are unexpected.
Right! I so get that if I force anything, it is never a happy ending.
Isn’t that the truth. For me, aging has helped me to learn to take a step back. Youth was impetuous.
It sure was :)
Congrats, Eunice! A lovely seasonal piece, perfect mood for winter.
Thank you, titled “Winter in its Beauty”
