I always like the way that owners bring their vehicles to shows like these and then sit quietly in chairs in front of them. It is a peaceful contrast to the roar of the engines.
I know right :) we are all hot rodders getting there but too old to walk and walk to see all 400+ cars and trucks lol I am 68 so I still can but many others sit and some to make sure of no hanky panky near their babies :) Some are worth 100,000.00+ my junk is 50,000.00 says the insurance company.
Good grief. Now wonder owners stick close to their vehicles.

Yes it’s been unbearable heat for the past 2 weeks even with the air conditioning working full blast. But I guess we would complain even if it was too cold, otherwise we are O.K. thanks Eunice. Have a great week and take care of each other.

How odd. When I take my car to a show, I leave the doors unlocked (or top down if I brought the convertible) and just walk away. Never once worried about it. The spectators are car guys and would never F with another enthusiast’s ride
It is the spectators who F with them :)
Hey Eunice, I want to tell you about a really bad habit I have at such events.

Not at car shows, but definitely at the race track (like…every weekend from May to Oct) I leave the keys jn vase someone needs the truck moved to unload their trailer. I put aside my fear of the vehicle being stolen, and just rely on the honesty of my fellow man.

One weekend, someone moved my car clear across the paddock. Didn’t even steal my ZZ Top cassette. Just relocated the car for reasons I still don’t know
lol damn now that was an odd calling car to leave you hopefully it was a fellow racer messing with you. I leave them in during a car show sometimes forgetting Haggerty would not pay up if it was my stupidity :)
I thought someone was just playing with me (car was left way across the paddock) but I think I parked in the reserved spot for the tech-inspection trailer.
Those are amazing rides!
