Since starting my journey, down my latest path, that began the week before Thanksgiving 2022 I have many new favorites. Now down 70 lbs.
Avocado with tuna, eggs or on whole grain bread. Never had this fruit growing up in New England.
I only eat this healthy fat once or twice a week, so I by the un ripened fruit or the pre-packaged, which I hate doing as I try to eat locally sourced from my garden and others close by but like I said these do not have a chance in hell growing here. Wait does that mean it should not be in my diet? Naw walnuts and olives don’t grow here either so where would I get a healthy fat from here in New England, Sunflowers?


Or dark chocolate. Or, Heaven’s forbid, coffee!
I’ll gladly let them have some of our apples for some of their avocados!

Favourite is fish, not fried :), with greens preferably silverbeet or broccoli. Must confess: I maintain a veggie garden for Silverbeet and kale …Just love it and keep weight in check by adding daily brisk walks for at least one hour when sun is down
Yes, love Kale I do love beets, but my Goldfinch(birds) pull out the seedlings as soon as they come up, they love beet greens :) Brady the new pup looks forward to our mile walk daily.
Hehe, my battles are with Possums and Bush Turkeys that love the young shoots and worms so this year I have become smart and purchased netting cover that looks like a tunnel with zipped doors to protect the all the greens not just some. :)
I have all of that and never get them put on I need to focus better. :)
