June Rains and Blossoms

Wow 15 of the first 17 days of June it has rained here but all in all it has been a manageable amount, for a change. I hated that it came hard when the Peonies were in bud but for a few days I got to enjoy them, and they were gorgeous.

The red blossoms are of my Geranium that sits on my outside dining table for a bit of color, and it was my mom’s favorite color.

Happy Father’s Day to all of the men out there who loved their children and did their very best for them.

    1. Thanks you as well here we celebrate Father’s Day and since mine is gone I will celebrate the day with Ron and will take him out for a early dinner as he wakes at 3 am for work tomorrow. I found out I have the day off so I will mow the jungle and tidy up if the rain stops or I will weed in the rain, barefoot then shower and see my ear doctor at 2 pm to see what kind of virus took our hearing for a month away in just one ear mine the right one his was deaf on his left. It was a sick woman and child on my bus hacking up lungs and though I wiped down the bus I still got very sick and was out of work for 10 days. Feel better now cough occasionally so hope he can figure it out. It is what I pay him for :) Have a wonderful week ahead and the first day of summer.

  1. Hi Eunice your garden must be a picture, I love peonies and roses of course. This year my Bougenveilia has been a picture but it’s taken me some years for success it is gorgeous hanging over the balcony. We have had some thunderstorms but up until now it hasn’t been so hot as usual for this time of year so the plants haven’t got scorched. Hope you have had a good weekend take care.

    1. Thank you all it has done is rain, but they say summer will arrive with heat and all right on time!

I miss Bougainvillea which grows in southern USA like a weed but here no way with our winters. xo

  2. Fantastic peonies, Eunice!
They are one of the most beautiful flowers.
Although, there is no such thing as an ugly flower.
Hope you are well, and sending Cheers!

    1. I am so much better, thank you, we have had just 3 days of sun so many flowers never saw it to their true potential but with all those fires up in Canada I am grateful for the rain.

      1. Rain…I’m grateful too! Still, we’re burning down up here!
We had one sunny day that was as dark as a overcast dusk. Very scary!
        💥Happy 4th of July, Eunice!💫
