Where I am, I’ve had blue birds since January, and the conservation agent said that they never left.
By the way, I see you are retired Trucker. Teamster? I’m a retired UPSer, not a trucker, but a sup and proud former Teamster.
Never n the union always an independent. I did haul US Mail in semis and straight jobs.
Eastern Bluebirds have been at my place for quite a few years now all year long just wish the Starlings would quit following them :)
WE had the starling for a few years, and they did leave, which was curious because no one else in the neighborhood feeds the birds. But we are adjacent to a good patch of woods and have hawks in the area.
Starlings are relentless… our flock seems to only grow larger. I think they are telling all their friends about the suet and mealworms. :(
For sure they do.
