The weather in New England has been very weird. So not what we had been spoiled with for the last few years.

Icy underfoot has kept me walking on dirt paths. Here and there in the yard. To take Brady out and to feed the birds.

Today I said lets go find a ice free spot we both need a walk.

It was 14 degrees F but bundled up we drove to the local church lot. We walked carefully avoiding the icy spots. Then drove home which was 70 degrees F. :)

I painted yesterday and today. Same topic matter but totally different techniques though both in watercolor.

Odd right? Flowers in this dreadful weather? I guess I am thinking of gardens.

Have a wonderful night and a great week ahead.
Eunice

    1. Thank you was it free? I only need free votes :) Chewy has a lot of money :) I like that owners can not donate money for votes and this is for fun actually I don’t think he has a shot but he has a great story so thank you again <3

  1. My dogs are mad at me. They snuggle by the door and give me the look. But the ice and the wind and the temperatures have kept me inside.
However, there’s a rumor started by the weather woman that we will hit 32 F. today, so I might just call the driveway guy and have him sand.
    I need the walk too!

    1. Absolutely! We will hit 40 they say Friday and Sat. but night time back into the 20’s and refreeze. I hate feeling trapped. Ron has a 4×4 so we will go without nothing but this cleaning while my car can’t get out easily is wearing thin like our pups patience. <3 Be careful when moving about. I will take the tractor out if it looks like I can break through areas of ice but without chains(I will have bought some before next winter) all I do is slide.

        1. You too more crap coming through tonight then a bit of that warm up. Stay warm. I have to have a heart test tonight at 6:30 hoping to beat the nasty stuff on my ride home :)

            1. Did mine tonight results from echo in my portal but unable to read them yet. Mine was painless just laid there while they used something like an ultrasound. Will be thinking of you. I have a scary lung CT on Thursday 8 am but hey it is out of my hands I wanted everything checked before my 70th in March :)

  2. It’s withdrawal symptoms from not having any flowers outside. 😆 So recreating them on paper is such a lovely way to get through winter, with all your ice and slush. Take care Eunice!

Love to hear from you
