The hardest part of hanging a show is picking the pieces I want to have matted and framed. Many thanks to Image Arts in Portsmouth NH for doing such a beautiful job as always on mine.

Just 6 of the ones I have in the show. Besides the framed pieces, I have a stack of matted paintings. A buyer would need to pick out a frame that they love for these paintings.
Image Arts in Portsmouth did a wonderful job pulling colors from my watercolors. They found just the right mat for each. I am not a white mat type of girl. Nevertheless, all the big professional shows demand certain frames, non glass, and white mats. I usually refrain from entering that type of art show. It requires a donation of cash to enter each piece. Then they take a 40% cut off your piece on a sale. Nope, I will not get into that rat race.
I will show you how pretty she made my pieces look with colored mats. Today I will just highlight 6 of my unframed images.
Enjoy your Saturday!
Tomorrow we will attend the Boy Scout Car Show with Brady and the British Taxi and Ford Torino.

At the least itās exciting fun. In the past Iāve let a good framer pick mats and colors like you. With photography Iāve made it even simpler š. If a print, gallery does everything, if up to me⦠metal images only.
Enjoy !!
I love metal prints as well and so easy to keep clean :)
They can capture light in dark spots also. š
True
All the best for a successful show!
Thank you Liz
You’re welcome, Eunice.
You are so talented Eunice.
Thanks not really just trying to learn.
Good framing can really make a picture stand out.
So true.
They are all so beautiful!
Thank you.
Lovely selection Eunice. I always ask my sister for advice on mats and frames as she used to paint herself and has an eye for it.
Galleries want just white to my sure it makes art pop but so would a pretty mat and white frame which they don’t allow :)
