Oh wow!
Thank you. I am 100 feet away so the shots are not crisp but they show the beauty that surrounds me :)
I love watching birds, and often spend a moment observing the ones that hang out in my neighborhood.
It is a perfect pastime with a warm cup of tea or coffee first thing in the morning or at the end of a hard day.
Beautiful salvias.
I think when I placed 2, tiny 4″ pots in each of my containers, in early May(it was warm enough even tomatoes went in 30 days early) and the constant spring rains set them up for success. Then day after day of sunshine without a cloud in the sky though very warm and me draining my well to keep them alive and not once did I add food, which is kind of weird I guess they got exactly what they needed. I love your gardens so much but I am so lazy or flat out too busy, it depends on the day when it comes to this yard.
I worked it for 3 years with the huge JD tractor then the drought hit and I had to call uncle on the perennials but they will be fine though. I am going to go nuts with Salvia and Zinnia and other annuals next year, bring on those seed catalogs! LOL I buy Zinnia seed by the 1/4 pound maybe a half pound next spring and save some of this years seeds if the finch save any for me. :)
I am having my tractor serviced on the 1st early morning and would love to work it but my Watercolor show is at 5 pm so unless I get everything hung and an idea of what to paint live, the tractor can sit idle until the 2nd :) Have a Sunday to you both.
Pretty birds!!
Thank you, it’s like a frenzy these days. I am still left with never leaving any seed out for our local bruins lol but berries galore have been more to their liking I am sure and a natural food source for them.. Between my yard who really doesn’t need me with the lack of rain and the baby birds now switching from bugs to meal worms and lots of bathing and drinking I spend each day when not working cleaning the house, scrubbing their feeders and washing out the hummer ones though they prefer all my flowers this year and trying to focus on upcoming art shows I can not wait to paint live on the 1st just to chill :) I will just miss having Brady beside me as I do. He is ok and pops in on Saturdays to see Eva in the children’s room but art show no he is good but I will need to answer questions if anyone shows up :)
Whew! You have a lot going on!
I think I am lay then I write stuff down and I get tired :)
I know the feeling!
LAZY me
🙂
Lovely birds and esp. that blue salvia!
I wish you lived closer this place has outdone itself with beauty this year, the only way to make it perfect is to have enjoyed better health and just a tad bit of rain each week :) Enjoy your Sunday!
Thanks, Eunice. Although I’m not traveling much these days, if I ever head up that way, I’ll be sure to let you know. :)
<3
What beauties Eunice and wonderful captures!
that is nice coming from you who takes wonderful shots herself. I am so different of a shooter :)
Sweet things xx
Love them so much, those feeders have saved me hundreds in mealworms.
Gorgeous photos Eunice! Love the blue salvia and your hummingbirds. 😁
Thanks Cathy even with the drought my occasional well water has kept it beautiful for as long as it has surprisingly :)
How beautiful, just splendid. Thank you, Eunice!
All I get here in the city is pigeons, sparrows, grackles and sea gulls (but the gulls seem to have gone? I hope the city didn’t get rid of them?)
I love all of the birds here, but yours are especially pretty. xx
We are blessed with our variety here <3
Gorgeous! ❦
