The birds here have it so good!
The humans not so much.

These first 3 photos are before another 8-11 inches of snow fell on the slop and ice; I had cleaned on the 13th, which only left this place at the bottom of a long dirt road even more treacherous.
Flowers for the table for our lasagna dinner with friends.

Today the 16th I spent 7 to 8 hours on the John Deere trying to clean up the snow but then the sleet and freezing rain arrived, and I had to put it back in its shed, as I had already changed out of wet clothes, gloves and coats 3 times yes, I am done with winter no matter how pretty it is at times.

They are grateful but surly in a hurry to get to mating, building nests and rearing young. He looks as disgusted as I was lol .

I attempted another watercolor while I unwound a bit before the weather started at dark last night.
Then it just kept falling well snow was nice then sleet then the freezing rain. Even the town never came back to clear my road and lay down sand as what would be the point it would just wash down the hill to the bottom of the road I would need to crawl out of at 3 am to go to work 40 min. away nope I will not be going to work tomorrow I did too much today and can’t get out without the town doing its part.

Remember when I used to climb up and clear the whole roof nope not at almost 69 :)
OH, Shoot I was supposed to post SILENCE for Sunday sorry.
Eunice

Lovely captures Eunice. I like the flowers too.😍
Thank you
I hear that! My husband is going out at 9 to clear the driveway and the steps. (He’s trying to be strategic. We’ll see.)
won’t stop until after midnight our town isn’t plowing yet.
My husband gave up last night and got up at 5:00 to do the snow removal.
I need a few weeks of rest and melt to happen :)
Yeah, this winter is one for the books. One messy storm after the other. I really don’t like ‘wintry-mix!’
Love snow not this ice.
Love them all!
Thanks
Glad to hear you no longer get up on the roof to clear it Eunice. Hope you stayed in bed this morning and didn’t attempt to go anywhere. Take care!
Oh, and your bird photos are lovely!
7 am and just woke to birds pecking my window to wake me lol boss said they could use me, but my body says maybe next week if we get a break from storms :) Ron’s shoulder gets repaired on the 3rd then he is down to heal and rehab,
Cardinals are so beautiful! Thanks for the great share!
Thank you and yes gorgeous I have a yard full at the moment in fresh snow.
We definitely need red this time of year, whether cardinals or beautiful tulips!
So true!
I hope that the weather gives you a break soon. Roll on spring.
Thanks for sure!
