Bad Drivers

Daily writing prompt
What do you complain about the most?

The question for wp writing prompt is “What do you complain about the most?”

Well for me the top thing would be bad drivers, and a close 2nd would be with our country and its division.

It is as nasty as it gets, wait maybe that is why all the lousy drivers are on their phones, maybe they are complaining about their friends, family and neighbors not being far left or far right like they are.

Good thing I am a middle of the road gal, wait that would also be considered a BAD DRIVER or drunk or blind.

No, I am an excellent driver, ask those who ride with me I get them to and from safe and sound.

I now transport the elderly and handicap who cannot drive, it is a service we will all need if we live long enough.

Laugh it’s good for you!!!!

Have a wonderful day just don’t be a Bad Driver

    1. I will say when I am unable to remain safe out there, I will stop driving. I see so many handicapped and veteran’s driving that should not be, they cannot even park their rides never mind navigate the roadways at speeds well over the speed limit. So many wrong way drivers as well, most of them have been drunk.

  1. YES!!! It is my number one complaint! Seems like every time I go out I have a too-close-for-comfort encounter with some distracted or just plain ignorant fool, often more than once per trip, and genuinely wonder how so many of them got their licences in the first place!

I try to be a considerate driver—if someone needs to merge and I’m able to let them in, I will. I mean, what is the big deal?! It amazes me how so many drivers will go out of their way not to, creeping within an inch of the bumper ahead to prevent it. Honestly! 🙄

I think society as a whole is becoming more “me me ME” the more time passes, and consideration for others is most definitely on the decline. I don’t know what the solution is, if there even is one, other than Don’t be jerks, People!

    1. I could not agree more about humankind as a whole, we must just stay true to ourselves regardless of how some of the world seems fit on behaving. I just wish I could always respond perfectly but some just get to close or under my skin in such a way it angers me which is not healthy for me to I practice just letting go and counting to 10 all too often. I have driven a rig professionally for over 3 1/2 million miles and 2 million for pleasure and in all those miles I was rearended once, backed into 2 times with countless near misses that thankfully my air horns woke them up in time. It has been much worse in America since Covid now it is complete lawlessness out on our local roads of New England.

Love to hear from you
