Blogging/Story Telling

I started with a different name and a fellow photographer said it was too hard to find me, so he said to use my name, but I liked NUTSFORTREASURE
better lol

The photo above from 2012 back when I began blogging about life here in New England. I had many “followers” back then but with the name change and many changes on WordPress lost some and others stopped using their blog. Now that it is paid up once again, $114 a year, It may have me walking away, because when I started it all those years ago it was a free blog.

Take care,

Eunice

  1. Eunice, your range of hobbies is wonderfully diverse and creative! It’s great how you’ve embraced activities like driving, photography, gardening, painting, and storytelling through your blog. It’s interesting to hear about the evolution of your blog, including the name change and how it’s grown over the years. With your experiences in blogging and the changes you’ve seen, what advice would you give to someone just starting out with their own blog, especially considering the challenges and rewards it brings? Your journey sounds both inspiring and insightful! 🌟📸🎨🌿

    1. Thanks so much Justin.

Let’s see I started my blog tell tell short stories on life in these parts and then hooked up with a group of bloggers who challenged me to write, try all kinds of poetry I had never heard of and met people all of the world that gave me faith in humanity!

Many have gone that I once followed but they get replaced by new favorites who write about things I enjoy. All I can say if you have a passion follow it and see where it takes you.

I forgot I also was under Twists and Turns and Living and Lovin I was not a painter then I was an injured female trucker who was going crazy away from her rig.

Best of luck on your journey.

  2. I can understand your feelings about blogging. It is sad when long term fellow bloggers retire and you lose contact with them. What I like about WP for all its annoyances, is the fact that you can keep things as large or as small as you want. It feels as though you can get to know the bloggers that you read regularly. If you keep your expectations modest, it gives you a window on the world that is pretty reliable and truthful, and that is a useful thing with so much rubbish flying about the internet.

    1. Yes I miss many from the early days for sure but I drop them an email now and then and we catch up,

Do you pay that price or is yours free?

I forget why I started to pay actually :) OLD AGE setting in early.

I love reading blogs from all over the world and seeing we are so alike. Have a great day!

      1. I pay a fair bit so that I can keep all my pictures. I have been going daily for fourteen years as a personal diary so I have accumulated a lot of photographs in that time – most of them flying chaffinches!

  3. Fascinating that many who have answered on this question have similar interests. I have similar. Nice images.

Love to hear from you
