Brady is settling right into our routine.
He is a happy dog so far lol they say there is a 2-week honeymoon stage where he will find his way. Well, he has our hearts already in this first week with us, so we hope the lovefest continues.
We are sad that such a well-mannered dog found its way to the SPCA here in NH and wonder about his family, who he must have loved, as he is always giving us kisses and they must be missing him badly. I was sent a DM of social platform stating she knew all about him and if I wanted to know more to call, I guess I am personally torn as I want to start fresh and have no drama around this adoption, my other half thinks he wants to know more. So here it is Monday, and I am still torn. I will see what the vet he used to go to says as well as the dog officer who turned Brady in says, as they are the professionals.
We took Brady to another car show, this one up the road from us. It was a fundraiser for our veterans. My family has many years of military service as well as my boyfriend and many friends, so it is important to me as an American to give them support. We paid to show off our trucks with all the other owners of these antiques, non-antique and race cars on our famous track, where Kyle Bush just raced last week. The monies will go directly to helping those in need.

Racing is well represented here in New England from small town tracks to our International Speedway just an hour away. We have 2 tracks in Epping where we can hear the horsepower being made from the house. My dad has raced on many of them and me just one.
Take care and enjoy your new week. I am praying the heatwaves that have so many in its grip, let up and rains fall where it is actually needed. Plant a tree this week, it has to help with so much deforestation worldwide. Most places have them discounted in New England.

ps the header is also of a spot 20 min. from us where one of NH fishing fleets sits in a protected harbor. Rye, NH. We took Brady for a ride along the coast after the show and it was just the perfect way to end our Saturday.

Brady looks like quite the charmer!
OMG yes, I just spoke to the dog officer in Seabrook this poor boy went through hell I hope we make this pup happy.
I’m very sorry to hear that. Brady is very fortunate to have found you.
Thank you yes 3 owners and all not good animal parents and some spending time in custody :( I cannot believe this is his story we hope these will be the best years of his life with us.
I’m sure they will be. :)
Thanks Eunice for this lovely post. I am so pleased that Brady is settling down and loving you as I know you love him too. Yes it is very hot here in Crete, but we are coping so far by staying in with air conditioning on from 8-o’clock morning until 11- 0’clock evening plus curtains drawn. You too take care and have a great week.
Stay safe in the heat friend xo
Glad Brady is settling into your routine. How old is he?
That is the big unknown we will try to find out at the vet appt. next week.
Thank you he is believed to be about 5.
A good age, settled a bit from his youth with many years left for loving. :)
Thank you, yes remind me of this after his honeymoon period lol
It is an energetic breed, my brother has had three. They’d chase a ball to exhaustion, if you’d let them!
This one prefers to walk and walk and well-behaved walking at that which works for my lighter body :) JT was a nut case with toys.
That is a beautiful view in your header picture.
In person gorgeous.
He is a handsome boy and looks happy! I can understand how you feel about knowing his past. We knew very little about our Anouk when we got her – she was leader of a wild pack in a Greek holiday marina, but she also loved fuss and attention from the people who moored their boats there.. So glad she came to us for her retirement! Your Brady is clearly as loving as our Anouk is. 😃
Seems we are blessed in all parts of our lives Cathy xo After talking to the police officer about Brady and hearing about all the drug addicts in his life I am so glad he saved him and took him to the shelter and for them photographing him and me seeing him I did not need a dog but in just over a week it feels like he has been here for 5 years the amount of time my little girl has been gone. At the shelter when I was petting him to see if he was friendly and me in tears thinking I should walk away I looked him in the eyes and said, “Brady did JT send you?” to which he wagged his huge white tail xo Ron knew he was ours at that moment.

I am so glad you saved your girl all dogs need to be loved.
