Having been sick and with a few nights of much colder air some of my gardens are amazing and others have either been destroyed by a late killing frost or shriveling up in yesterday’s 90F heat which is nuts for MAY.
I have followed the NO MOW MAY here in the United States so June 1st will be a noisy and busy around here and with rain expected come Thursday, if I can finish it all my yard will hopefully be that much better for so much rebirth.

Flowers and colors all around me are popping for sure.
We have this last day off before we both attempt to return to work. We will remember those who fought in battle never to return to their loved ones. I do not think a parade where we sit in traffic with these two antiques is in the cards, but we may attend one.
Stay safe everyone!
Eunice

I like the bird photos in particular.
Thank you
You’re welcome.
Irises hold a special place for me, my mother loved them and they are considered the national flower here in France. They are a delight to paint as well.
Beautiful photo’s Eunice. The best time of the year for sure.
Thanks so much I did not know that about France. My Moms favorites were her bearded Iris’s. Me I cannot pick just one.
How beautiful Eunice! Love the birds.
Love the photo’s Eunice. The best time of the year for sure.
It sure is with all this beauty xo
Lots of lovely photos Eunice. Hope you had a restful day off before you have to go back to work.đŸ˜ƒ
Thanks, laying off the codeine for now as I attempt to drive again, I will use reg. cough syrup and see if I can make it through mostly it is being deaf in my right ear now that is scaring me :( Still have 4 or 5 days of nasty heavy-duty amoxicillin to finish.
Take care Eunice!
Thank you I will. I worked 4 hrs and tomorrow 8 but had a hearing test today they said my ear was full of fluid and I had very little hearing in my right ear praying fluid disappears as I love my new job.
Excellent bird portraits, Eunice. The weather has been so up and down, I feel badly for the plants. And I am still ferrying my annuals in and out every day and night as the 40s is just TOO cold for them yet. Maybe in a couple of days I’ll be able to safely leave them out.
I said damn it and they all went in today 40’s here on the coast and I watered them deeply as well. My garlic is amazing and just now getting some scapes showing up now that I use all the time the bulb and shoots :)
