Just About 9 Weeks Now

It’s been a while since I have popped on and shared life from around here.

9 weeks with a loss of 40 lbs. and filled with so much more energy.

Don’t get me wrong I want more to come off, but this has shown me if I

set myself up for success I will achieve it.

Yes, I gave up all processed foods, fats, grains, nuts, milk products of all kinds,

as well as fasting for 14-16 hours each day but my body loves it!

I have been painting like crazy too, and I actually am coming out of retirement,

part time at first but imagine that. I will drive a small truck two times a week,

delivering US Mail. It was my favorite job with my rig 17 years ago. This will be

easier but the hours are the worst.

I will wake by 1 am and roll out to a location 20 miles away, then hop in the truck and drive

it over and fill it with mail (racks on wheels) for a location about 45-60 min away, in good

weather with no traffic. I am feeling that much better!

OK here are three of my latest Watercolors hope you like them. For those who follow me on Facebook and Instagram I am sure you have seen them.

The middle one is a failure, but I tried lol.

Take care we have a snowstorm headed our way well actually maybe back-to-back storms,

so much for my green lawn and budding trees. Come on SPRING!

  1. That’s fantastic Eunice – both the weight loss and the new job. And I love your paintings… looks so pretty in the snow. Your header is gorgeous too. Keep it up and give yourself a pat on the back. Hugs! πŸ€—

    1. Thank you, yes, we went out for seafood tonight to celebrate πŸ™‚ That header is my yard and still not sure why I do the scenes I do lol I really love spring, summer and fall NOT WINTER

    1. Lovely paintings Eunice. Well done on the weight loss. I understand some of the challenges involved, having lost a significant amount of weight several years ago.

      1. I know what you mean. Some make it so easy but to do this one I gave up everything a poor person ate lol now though still struggling I just landed a part time job that will finally bring me above the USA poverty level the accident was 22 years ago I had to get off the crazy train and do something drastic. In 30 days, there will be splurge days but no binging on say chips and dips πŸ™‚ maybe dip with celery and that will be teaspoons worth if I even desire that stuff anymore most I no longer do. Congrats on your success I for one know how hard it is.

      2. We used the Keto Diet, which is low carbs. During the course of the diet, I kept my carbs to between 20-30 mg. Once I got off and maintained, I try to stay in the 100 mg/day range.

Dark chocolate, in moderation, is a wonderful treat as it is low carbs.

Good luck with the diet and the new job. It must be an exciting time.

      3. Thank you mine must be a version of Keto as well no sugar, milk, cheese, flour, corn, peas, nuts etc.
Took them all out for 90 then add the dark choc. and a bit of avocado back it so far. All the exercise I will be paid for on this new job will hopefully get me to my goal. Thanks for the heads up I will pay more attention πŸ™‚
