We spent both Christmas Eve day and Christmas at one of our favorite sections of the Massachusetts coast. We live in NH but travel all over New England in the winter months.
I am looking forward to 2023 I am now down 33 lbs. in 35 days 🙂 yes not easy but so worth it!
Wishing you the very best in the New Year!
Well done Eunice! And enjoy that winter sunshine!
Thank you 🙂 It will get warm in the 50’s F for New Year’s Eve, and Day I cannot wait! He starts a new job on the 3rd then I get to walk daily at the shore and drop the rest by my birthday in March or that is what I am pushing for.
That coyote has a piercing stare! All the best for the new year, Eunice.
She is gorgeous and some photographers hunt her all day up and down the road hope she finds food at night.
I agree that she is gorgeous.
Well done Eunice I bet you look stunning now then. Plus you will need some new clothes to fit the new you !!. So pleased you both enjoyed your X,mas.
Thank you when I hit goal and new haircut and a trip maybe to a place in New York City to figure out a style for me 🙂
Good luck !! and for the New Year.
Happy New Year to you both xoxo
Wow, congratulations, Eunice. I’d like to lose that much. What was your secret? I love your wooden path picture. 🙂
Thank you, Marsha.
I gave up ALL milk, cheese, sugar, flour, fats of all kinds like banana and avocado. 🙂
Wow! So what did you eat?
Lean meats, chicken, turkey, spaghetti squash, salsa, eggs lots of eggs, salads, tuna, fish, seafood baked or broiled NO BREAD or coatings and skinny girl only salad dressing. NO CRAP FOOD
That takes some real discipline. How long are you going to keep this up, and when you reach your desired weight, then what?
a pound a day then maintenance and then treats now and then but this is the new way I hope to live once half of me is gone 🙂
Half is a lot, Eunice. You did not strike me as someone who needed to lose half of yourself. Yikes.
My friends say I carry it well but my knees and back kick up a fuss xo
I hear that! Most people do carry more than they should and it is so sad to see someone who can barely walk because they are so heavy. I would be devastated not to be able to walk because of something that I could prevent.
Water, close to 100 oz a day black coffee or black tea
That is amazing. I’m drinking a lot, but not that much. Wow! Not many vegetables either, it looks like.
OH I can have many and berries and apples and oranges daily with meals many starchy veggies nope not those ones like corn and peas sweet potatoes, white potatoes, no rice pasta or nuts I also fast 15 hrs and have 2 meals a day but most days I could go with one meal and two snacks
You are so dedicated. I’m glad it’s working for you and I bet you look and feel so much better and good about yourself for accomplishing a big goal.
Thank you and I do 🙂 30 to get back to my trucking weight hoping it is before my March 5th birthday as I did it so I could live longer.
I’m glad. That’s very wise. Weight can slip up on us, and then poof we are gone. Mom was too heavy, and lived on 5% of her heart for her last few years. She didn’t do much. I don’t want to get like that and it is creeping up, so I’m off sweets until my next birthday – November.
Good for you but if you are not active pasta, bread and potatoes and rice will also store as carbs that pack on fat when not used. I got hurt 22 years ago and fought with doctors for 4 years before getting the care I needed by then I was doomed until other things got better in my life but now, I am on the right path.
I am not active enough, for sure. I shopped for clothes today. Yikes. Those mirrors are made to make your knees looks about 3x their size and 40 years too old to show! I didn’t buy a thing, and I’m starting today to take off 30 pounds – seriously!
Best of luck to you it is not easy but so worth it.
Thanks – amen to that! I’m on day 8 with no sweets as in desserts and drinks, not bread.
🙂
