Not Sure Where Time Slips Away To

Well weather continues to be nuts what with gusty winds, warm days and frigid nights really running the gambit in these parts of New England.

Not much really to do except clean the house, do laundry and when I do the wash, they get hung on the line, so I wait for the sunny, warm and breezy days, so they dry quick. Not really anything to do as he has been helping a friend so our trucks sit and wait for him to be done so we can get ours ready to sit quietly all winter. Classic cars in cold locations need to do prep so they will purr come spring.

Arm is almost 100% I am happy with it and my new health coaching is going good as well. I am down 18lbs in 17 days kind of shocking but then again, I am not dining on foods I love either. Lots of greens, lean meat and certain veggies and fruits again not the ones I love lol after 90 days I will begin to see some back in my home others will only pass through my lips as a treat 2 x’s a month. I am not hungry all day and feel better so wish me luck.

I took three days to paint a new Watercolor this one on canvas made for such painting.
Here is the process in pictures for you to check out.

Hope all is well, and you are not stressing too badly with the holidays quickly arriving. Take care of yourselves.

Eunice

This one is Titled “Forest Magic”

Forest Magic by E. Miller

Now to find a buyer so I can buy more paper and fresh paints for Christmas so I can continue to create.

    1. lol nothing yummy πŸ™‚ Doing cooking from scratch is fun now that the arm is healed now, I cannot wait to garden in the spring. I do a lot of fasting and eat appropriate size servings I cannot take the walks and rides like you yet but when I do, I can build muscle again. The knee is trashed from the last fall I took but I have been trying to pay off all the medical bills before I make a new one.

  1. Kudos on the healthy new diet and weight loss, Eunice. Once you realize how much better you feel, you’ll be motivated to stay with the healthier food. (I had to start from scratch this past Feb. and it was tough for the first 2 months, then I got used to it. Worth the struggle!)
Interesting to see your art process. I was wondering about the tape and then I saw it was for the trees, clever!

    1. Yes, no sugar, fats, crunchy things unless you count bell peppers and celery πŸ™‚ No treats of any kinds except that lovely, chopped apple I just made with lemon juice and cinnamon lol 5 oz of chicken tenders with the pepper and French Style Green Beans I simmered it all in organic chicken broth with salt and black pepper with herbs. I have enough for 3 or 4 more meals thankfully. I hope to have all my weight off by my birthday in March.

  2. That is magical Eunice – you chose the title well. So good to hear your arm is so much better and well done with the new healthy eating plan.πŸ˜ƒ The main thing is you feel good. I can hardly eat sweet stuff any more because it just makes me feel bad and I have to remember that before taking a bite! Sigh! The days of baking and Christmas cookies are gone….

    1. Thank you, Cathy. Yes, the sugar needed to go but so did the bread and cracker type foods, just comfort and mindless eating. Once I am where I am happy, and my joints don’t hurt so bad some things like nuts and nut milks will be added back now I am looking for honest to goodness flavorful tea not the ground up garbage sold in bags here in the US. Have a great weekend. Today I go out with a friend for my first meal on the town. Thinking salad with a grilled piece of chicken well one 1/3 of the one they will give me πŸ™‚

      1. I am drinking fruit and herbal teas with a tiny bit of agave syrup as sweetener. We have some good organic tea mixtures here. πŸ˜ƒ Enjoy your lunch out Eunice! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜˜

  3. Hi Eunice, pleased to hear your arm is much better, my haven’t you done well with your diet, keep it up I am sure you will benefit from it. Nice that you are back to your painting, that is therapy in itself. Love the water colour. Take it easy and have a good weekend.

  4. Good for you! Love the magical forest too… πŸŽ„ Sending lots of love your way and wishing you a blessed and beautiful Christmas and happy and healthy New Year, Eunice! xoxoxo
