OMG, leaf peepers galore! π
My husband and I were in the leaf-peeping madness on Saturday. Back roads from now on!
So many hours in the the Kanc’s traffic jam. Next year drone footage from above all the mess.
My husband mentioned the drone option as well! (Our son-in-law is a drone pilot, but in in NH.)
We have 3, my other half fly’s RC Airplanes but I want a simple and easy to fly one for when I run away on my own π We are in NH and love the photographers who share on Facebook.
Oops. I meant that my son-in-law is in California.
π
almost 4 hours to go 32 miles and still bumper to bumper through Ossipee NUTS
Definitely not the weekend to go to the mountains of NH! Bet you wished you stayed home, lol! There are just TOO many people these days. Remember when you actually could travel these roads and meet only a dozen cars?
I used to film off the rear of motorcycles π not a soul around. Had I not gone I would have only gotten dead brown leaves it is such a fleeting moment in time this fickle foliage and with the droughts all the experts said it would be lousy I can promise you it was not π
Love the Autumn leaves Eunice but sounds like the traffic jam was horrendous.
OMG it was truly NUTS π
I had no idea you get so many ‘leaf peepers’ as Eliza called them! Shame for the locals, but I bet it looks great near your home too. Lovely photo. πππ
We get it last in our state, but it is gorgeous anywhere here right now in New England soon they will be all brown and need to be moved lol
Iβm glad there is so much beauty for leaf peepers to enjoy, but New England roads do get clogged this time of year.
They sure do π quaint roads full of clamoring city folk π
I might be in that traffic jam too if I had the opportunity. A wonderful sight.
I have gone every year since I learned to drive but even this was madness for me π
Weβre headed to Lincoln for a few days next week. Hope all the peepers got their fill and have headed home.
π
The leaves will be all over the ground with 2-4 inches of rain set to fall and 30-45 mph winds as well so you should find yourselves alone π
Weβre due for that as well. Shame because the color is stunning right now.
I know I grabbed some today as I knew the drop would begin in earnest π¦
The wind kept me up all night. Waking up to pretty bare branches here.

That is the sad part glad I went out to play when I did as the north country is under flood warnings.
So far weβve just had high wind and scattered showers. Heavy rain due at noon.
and I am hoping ours has passed by then so I can wash the truck for the show tomorrow π We are close to Hampton Beach.
Weβre mid coast Maine. Heavy rain is on the wayβ¦.
Stay safe at least it is warm rain our just about stopped with sun coming out at just after 1:30 pm Have a great weekend
Our little town has lost power down in the village but weβre still up. So far, so good.
Enjoy your weekend as well⦠supposed to be 70 degrees.
π
Yes, perfect for the car show we will be in tomorrow π Have fun!
