We have been blessed with so many unseasonably warm days, well for New England that is, as it is mid-December and yesterday and today it was in the 50’s and 60’s here at the Seacoast.
We have had lots of rain I mean deluges of it, but it had been a mild winter last year and then dry until late June and July when all it did was rain, but I still see the weather, having grown up here in New England as ever changing, no panic or thoughts of doom and gloom but seeing the destruction throughout the world, weather related, could it be we have over-populated this planet? Like politics science is divided, sad to say with that no good will come of either being divided.
I am not sure how many of my followers are from the hard-hit areas of mass destruction in the news, but we are praying for you all.
So back to the SNOW yes anywhere from 1 inch to 10 inches is forecasted and it really will depend upon how it descends upon us. The John Deere is fueled and ready for whatever comes our way, and I will wait until the event is over then bundle up and clear the property so we can move about without falling or getting stuck here. I say we are tough New Englanders but then I look at our country’s loss in big weather-related stories and yes, we have had them but as I age, I am not so sure I am still resilient.
My photograph in the header is a play on the beauty that will be left come Sunday morning well it will be white for sure, lol
Take care everyone
Eunice

Iβm ready for some serious snow. Weβve only had 2 dustings so far and they melted too quickly.
I need a foot to put my gardens to bed and protect plants from the winds after that I can send the rest to you π
Itβs weird, the older I getβ¦ the more I want those giant storms of old. Give me 2 feet at a time not 2 inches.
π
Yes, I am with you on that if I have to move snow give me a snowstorm π When we get a lot, I paint more, so paper may get wet Sat/Sunday.
I despise the tiny snow fall, melt, freeze overnight, wake up to solid ice scenarios. Itβs winter, let it snowβ¦ and stay until spring!
Stay cosy, Eunice! Maybe we’ll have a white Christmas after all?
with teens and 20’s I think we will.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you just have a gentle snowfall with some bright and frosty blue-sky days afterwards, keeping everything crisp and clean for Christmas?! I do hope you don’t have to clear too much and the wind isn’t too icy. Wrap up warm and take care. βοΈπ€

Beautiful!
Thank you
Very nice picture!!
To me when I heard from the weather person saying it there will not be a white Christmas this year, I felt a bit relieved. I think I am like you, as you age I am not sure I like to see inches of snow anymore. But I am sure many many others love to see π
I read that you caught something. Please take care and hope it isn’t COVID.
It lasted about 24 hrs with high temp but now I feel great weird but for me this last year has been nuts π I agree I think we got just over an inch and praying it melts π
