Where Did October Go?

So much has happened since my last post in August. I am not sure where to start so maybe I won’t, just know I am feeling better for the moment.

I had one of the best growing seasons.

Seriously my garden was amazing once the heat arrived I thought it would never stop and actually here it is the day before Halloween, the last day of October and I still have tons of Butter Crunch lettuce I started in late Aug. as well as peppers and tomatoes and potatoes, beets and celery to pick.

Flowers of all kinds just kept this place looking so special

It was not just food I grew but you knew that, so many blossoms of all kinds opened and they were covered in bees and bugs of all kinds, which kept the beautiful birds very happy.

So many beauties

I had been so sick you know sights like this helped me through each day.

My own airshow.
So we took a ride to take in the whole show from a local parking lot
You thought I was kidding right?
A Palliated Woodpecker after invasive berries in the old Willow
We took rides to all of our bordering states
We took in a few fairs and I fell hard for his pup
It was Autumn in the mountains
No matter what state I was in
My families are returning
Even had a Birdseye view caught from my place
Even the Carrots took on the colors of fall
I even began to paint again

I know it has been awhile but I am glad to be back and have already visited some of your recent posts. I hope you are all well, man has this been a trying 22 months.

That is quite the harvest you’ve had. Do you freeze and can? I’ve frozen beans and kale, made tomato relish and apple butter and sauce. I love harvest time. πŸ™‚ Take care!

    1. Thank you. Actually I gave so much away and we ate the rest this year. As I made sauce with all of the freshest ingredients I cooked them down then I added the mix to the blender. Much neater BLT’s were eaten πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you I did love summer and all the hustle and bustle but eating all that hard work and giving away pounds of food was also wonderful now time to clean the house as I leave my yard work until spring which helps all the creatures who call this place home. Thanks for stopping by.

      1. Good!
I just went through a bunch of tests.
Nothing so far, but I don’t feel quite right, but I don’t feel ill.
Will get different tests in the spring.
        LIVE!!!!!! xoxo
