After a month of rain we are now back into the dog days of summer with the heat once again upon us but it is just what my tomatoes my need though I could do with less mosquitos.
The ducks are almost as big as their mom and still no flying as of yet wonder if I will ever see that.
I once again have a pair of wild turkey here one of which has an injured foot and it hobbles horribly but eats what I scatter and drinks the fresh water I leave out for them all.
Hummingbirds are buzzing around like crazy and the Gray Catbirds are still here. Now and then I see the Baltimore Orioles and Bluebirds but usually on cooler days.
Butterflies are stunning as are their caterpillars.
We took a few long rides when the rains let up but then after I cleared the yard of grass and weeds seems I had an issue with swollen eyes and lips so back for more drugs soon I will need a padded room 🙂
Now time to bore you with some shots I grabbed since the last time I blogged.

Ha Ha right 🙂 I know snakes are good but hate having to work around them when all they do is surprise me constantly.
Yes, I know they are good. I do not hate them or to harm them anyway but I am just so scare of them.

Yes they were day trips gone 12-14 hrs but heaven to come into the drive 🙂
The animals become dependent upon my being here though in the summer except for the hummingbirds and baby ducks they fend for themselves in the gardens with a touch of seed in am and pm when birds are feeding their wee ones 🙂 Yes the snake I could see take a hike but as long as he isn’t hiding in my home, cars, trucks and tractor I am ok with it eating all I do not of the pests 🙂
Your flowers and butterfly photo’s are lovely Eunice. You have plenty of wildlife around you and they can be wonderful company as well as for photo’s Stay safe, keep well and have a great weekend.
