Being from New England and only having lived in one other place in my 64 years, Tampa FL (not counting my rig that is) I am a happy girl today.
Our amazing Tom Brady attempts to fire up his team as he seeks yet another
ring.
For him it is the wins. He is competitive though some say it is boring to watch him win so many times, for us up here and now down there I think not.
As he stands still in the pocket looking for a great pair of hands to do the rest as they move the ball down the field many he faces run the ball here there and everywhere. Tom remembers coming of the bench for one such quarterback and the rest is history.
That in one moment one quarterback goes down another starts his journey and what a wild one its been, so try not to hate on him too much. 🙂
We are spoiled in the northeast for sure and we demand greatness as rabid fans, hell why play the game if winning isn’t your way.
We have the Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots all of which have had many stars and who have gone on to play for other teams but I can assure you they never forget us.
Today I will be very busy cooking up a big pot of Chili, Hot Artichoke and Spinach dip. I had wanted to make Cubans again but with today’s snowstorm arriving soon a hot meal makes more sense, I will add some heat and some Cuban spices.
This painting I did yesterday afternoon with another not yet ready for prime time as I snapped photos of my beautiful feathered friends.

Wonderful photo and amazing painting – you have skills lady. 🙂 Cheering today is tough because we admire Tom Brady and have cheered for him for the past 15 years or so, but we lived and cheered for the Chiefs for almost 30 years. I guess we’ll just wear two hats today, hope for an amazing game, and be thrilled for whoever wins. Have fun and enjoy your good eats.

Love your water colour Eunice. I am afraid I have no idea who you are referring to with regards a game but you seem pretty excited about it so I gather they are winning. There are heavy snow storms forecast for England too and Scotland has really been hit hard. Keep warm and safe Eunice
