Well both my neighbor and I have garden hers are full of Beets lots and lots of Beets and Tomato and Peppers Beans and more Beans.
Mine is full of Herbs, Lettuce, Kale, Potatoes, Peas and Beans as well as a few Tomatoes.
So I gifted her about 3 lbs of new potatoes and she bagged up about the same only hers was with beets. She lives alone and mine doesn’t eat beets so it was a perfect exchange.
I usually roast but this time I boiled them and reserved the red liquid with something else in mind.
Painting yes it is colored water so I went for it. Now as far as light-fastness who knows but I did use artist grade paper and a bit of watercolor for the greens though it is light and I want to rush in and add some #watercolor to it within the beets I will refrain and do one in all watercolor maybe a few of things I grow here.
