Birds Are Happy Here

Waiting his turn patiently.

How many days have we been asked to stay home? Days go on and on some productive some not so much. I have taken a 3 mile walk and then sat most of the day capturing shots of my visiting wildlife and yes even painted.

Lousy photo but here is what I completed today boy did it start out differently and I loved it but hey it is a piece of paper and I had a relaxing couple of hours away from the news.

Colorful Day

We received 4″ of heavy wet snow 2 days after I finished my flower gardens and had them safely under another layer of mulch to keep the weeds at bay when spring actually does arrive.

Winter Again

Stay safe everyone and try not to get caught up in worry we can get through this and spray your phones, doorknobs and those remote controls and we all know now how important hand washing is in stopping the spread of Covid-19.

    1. Will do and you as well are you in CA or the otherside of the world safe and sound?

  1. Beautiful feathered friend and painting. It must be satisfying to be able to create during this confinement. I’ve been sewing, but it takes a little push because I keep thinking so what if I don’t finish, it’ll still be here tomorrow. πŸ™‚

    1. πŸ™‚ I have been busy deleting emails, spreading mulch but want to get all my painting of the barn done and some boards off the house that replacing before the heat and bugs arrive just need to stay healthy. Take it easy just knowing we are isolated is stressful just blog, sew and rest so we can enjoy summer.

  2. The snow was quite heavy. We have some flu and so Tom couldn’t go out to plow for the town. Our dr said there are no tests to see if it’s the coronavirus but told us to isolate ourselves just in case. Coughing, headaches but thankfully no fever. It feels like a flu I’ve had before. So we rest, watch some birds outside and wait for true spring! I love your trees painting!β€οΈπŸ™

    1. Flu comes with fever and aches like 103 so if you have something I pray it is not COVID 😦 Thanks you friend ❀
Stay well and away from people.

      1. Hi Eunice yes we are resting and isolating ourselves. I pray it isn’t as well. We are getting better but still coughing. I’m praying my son doesn’t get it, take careπŸ’•πŸ˜˜

Still working hard in the yard. I now have peas, lettuce, raddishes and beets in as well as kale who has returned on her own as well as herbs. Garlic is still pretty green in the raised beds so hopefully with all this rain they do not rot.

Getting excited to build my tractors garage I bought the metal frame now to scrub some rust off and pant the areas subject to weather whiich brings me to yours how is it there? We have rain till Wed. then more then 60’s for the weekend.

I hope you are all doing as good as can be expeceted in this year we will all look to forget but remember so we do not let history repeat itself. Stay Healthy and strong HUGS

  3. Glad you could get the flower beds done before the snow. Stay safe Eunice, and enjoy some time out for painting! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ƒ

      1. Thank you. It’s been weeks that we are well again. Not sure if it was the flu or covid-19. The dr could t test us but I guess what matters is that we stay well now and ride through this crazy storm we are all experiencing. Bless you and stay safe.❀️😘
