Christmas Gifts

We took a drive on Christmas day not far from the house just to the sea. We took our treasure hunting machines with hopes of some exercise and some loose change. I found change and trash he found the same but also a piece of chain which was once someone’s jewelry.

The day was Ok weather wise for a New England Christmas and as the evening drew near I looked to the sky.

Before the action above began.

Hints of the sunset began and I googled “What time is Sunset?” 4:15 was the reply one half hour away and this photo doesn’t begin to let you in on what was to tranfire above me.

Wild ribbons of amazing color.
From different shots it took on the appearance of huge pink wings.

Never forget to LOOK UP when treasure hunting, sometimes the real treasure is heaven sent ❤

    1. I was on the phone with my uncle and he told me to paint it I told him there was no way I had those skills he assured me I did so maybe a little attempt today 🙂

    1. Just an amazing sunset which is usually good there but the pink wing like formations that hung over us was jawdropping.

    1. No on Salisbury Beach Reservation but I bet up on the curve overlooking Wallis Sands it would have been amazing. ❤
