It Was 60 on Tuesday Not Today

What a weird winter this has been here in southern New Hampshire.
As you all saw on the new in the mid 60’s for our parade but then today just 2 days later we were covered in Ice.

The beauty still comes through but damage may follow tomorrow. Today I captured shots of some feathered friends and some natural food for the and a shot of JT from the warm day.

Rose Hips under ice.

More ice.
Hanging from the weight of the ice.
Blue Jay
Pretty birds brightened this dreary day.
Border Collie
With a snowball her dad had tossed earlier after our walk she ate it all πŸ™‚ She loves catching and eating snowballs but this one had sat there so she ate it.

Rose Hip
The birds and red squirrels love these in the dead of winter so now I leave them till early spring then cut them all back.
Cooper Hawk

Pretty birds and squirrels attract attention.

So the action on screen and out my windows has kept me amused but the weather well it has just been nuts!

  1. Lovely images! We have ice today too and need to get our poorly dog to the vet. Hope we can make it up the hill to the main road!

  2. Our weather certainly has been up and down! We’ve had a few rainy icy mornings this week. This morning it’s raining but 36, I’m not expecting a two hour delay today but we had one on Tuesday. I hope you’re having a great week!πŸ˜€

      1. It was crazy here I have had hurricanes with less wind. My gazebo went airborne and bent a leg grrr

Big snow may come tomorrow night and Sat. I have a Craft Fair so something to look forward to after cleaning up the yard. Stay safe.
