Purging

I have been plugging away at purging all that is no longer needed and no good to anyone else.

I have been making headway with packing up most of my art supplies that will not freeze out in the uninsulated barn that will soon enough be a artspace.

Today it is snowing and because I now own the tractor I am left with so much time to call my own. So today I will toss more things out, reorganize and pack containers for another trip to the barn once the temps clear the freezing mark.

Have you all done your end of the year cleaning and tried to begin with a clean slate?

Not happy with my attempt on these Sunflowers but I had fun painting.

  1. January is a great time to organize! I’m slowly finding unwanted or unused items to give away or sell. It will be a good feeling to purge. Happy days!πŸ˜„πŸ’•

    1. Yes 3 boxes toss, donate keep one closet or drawer at a time. Have a great weekend GO PATS!!!!

  2. I love your sunflowers. Of course, I spent the majority of my adult life in Kansas so I find them all beautiful. I purged and downsized about 18 years ago when we made the cross country move. Now, when I get anything sitting around I most likely drive right up to Goodwill and get rid of it. Once I got rid of ‘stuff,’ I didn’t want to go back to collecting it. πŸ™‚

    1. Amen a perfect way to do it and my plan I hate to throw out expensive good things so I will gift it all I tell my better half not to lock the doors to the house I could not get so lucky for them to empty me out πŸ™‚
