Painting Challenges

Painting with the rest of them and doing my best to follow the prompt.

I am looking forward to trying my first Paintout coming up soon in Portsmouth NH
not sure anyone will see it never mind offer it for sale but I have to try Plein Air and keep trying to get it right, it is how I can grow as a painter.

I now have art hanging in Epping, Exeter and Portsmouth not mind blowing art mind you but putting myself out there to be judged even though this is my third year of painting if I push myself it is only then that I will excell.

I have met so many really nice people out there.  A few so full of themselves which is good as they will end up keeping themselves company, just wish they could see what could be.  I will stay open to possibilities and not close myself off to the world outside my door.

I will teach a group my love of Watercolor on Tuesday wish me luck as I thought I was teaching children 🙂  I have made up 60 blank bookmarks out of wc paper and even punched a hole for them to take home and add ribbons too.  I will teach them about a wet into wet wash then add salt for texture and then when dry have them finish a scene from their own mind which we all know is limitless.  I just hope I can make them happy for an hour and a half or two.

After I spend time in the library I pack up and go to my own class to make the next attempts on this one yes very blurry but was giving my Facebook followers a sneak peak 🙂  (Folsom Mill Studio)  can not wait to drop in the next layer.

    1. Thanks I am! Yesterday I shared some watercolor techniques with 17 others at my local library.
