Enjoying August to the fullest.
Practicing Watercolor painting still.
Taking lots of photos as well just not blogging much.
All is well some may say boring I say wonderful.
What a gorgeous summer we are having just sorry so many others are far from enjoying their weather.
Sunny days we have had
That is after the heavy downpours have moved off towards the coast.
The lawn gets mowed when it reaches 6 inches and is tamed back to 4″ high lol so I can spot SNAKES!
but it has been wet enough down here to grow these and many other different varieties.
Speaking of Turkey just my 6 boys stopping by for breakfast and dinner a few seeds and lots of bugs! Miss my girls and their fluffy chicks but the hawks are never far from here and we have lots of unsafe open space for chicks to be snatched.
So I will enjoy the summer and prepare for fall.
Too soon to discuss that horrid season 🙂 JT’s favorite to walk the beach in truth be told mine to for that activity it is the shoveling I could do without 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe where ever you may be.

How freaky, I just posted a piece on winter leaving us soon. Lovely pics. Your garden looks like a botanical garden. I must admit I have been used to seeing snow and did a double take. x
🙂 Thanks soon it shall flip and it will once again be our turn 🙂 nice to hear from you xo
I have been a bit tardy in my visits, I apologise. Yes I can’t wait for spring to arrive 🙂 hope you are well and mum. xx
Stitches coming out of my chin this afternoon from 2nd Basel Cell removed and Mom is driving again not far but to have her freedom back 🙂 Life is good as we prepare and ready ourselves for the weather that is about to arrive it went from 80’s F to 50’s F when wicked storms blew threw 🙂
This summer has been truly wonderful and the gardens are enjoying the rains while I am enjoying the fact that those rains fall at appropriate times so that I can enjoy the sun. I am however building up my strength for the winter shovelling…I just have this feeling.
I know you are right 🙂 We will have the coal stove ready 2 tons put aside propane full and if our local store ever opens again we will work at getting the shelves full if we get snowed in 🙂 Enjoy the rest of summer 🙂 Sun shines and grows the grass then we cut it just before more rains falls wish I could share with the western part of our poor country 😦
Lovely to hear you are enjoying your summer Eunice! We are also making the most of it, but we have noticed the evenings getting shorter already. Yikes! Have a lovely August!
Today horrid storms took the temps from 80’s to 60’s F and we have seen a few Red Leaves 🙂 still one great 30 day stretch with no coat needed for this girl 🙂
Glad you are loving summer too 🙂 xo
That is one good reason to keep your lawn mowed to spot snakes. Sometimes they just also hide under garbage/recycle bins outside. Watch out for that too!
Yes garter snakes are cool for the garden just not fond of the ones who rattle their tails pretending to be BAD SNAKES 🙂 our milk snakes get pretty large 🙂
The problem is I cannot tell who is who 🙂
I can and I still JUMP 🙂
Great summer photos 😀
Lovely to hear from you, Eunice. 🙂 Summer is too good to waste!
