This is just the view to the west from my homes roof see all the snow cleared for dog and birds OUCH today was the roofs turn to get cleared. It took 2 hours of constant shoveling to rid all but the south side of the home from 12 Inches of the white stuff WHEN IS SPRING? It is snowing right now and they say maybe another 8″ which is why I was up here

piggy down – THUD. That is a *lot* of snow my friend. WOW – I’ve never seen any of it in real life. We just don’t get a lot of it here in the south. XOXO – Bacon
I know lol I miss Florida really really bad π
I would imagine so. I mean, I’ve never seen it in person. Peeps tell me it’s cold and wet. They’ve never told me that it continually falls from the sky until you are buried – snorts. Please be safe and keep warm! XOXO – Bacon
π Thanks Bacon!
Oh my goodness, do be careful on the roof Eunice!
Too funny Cathy he helps me up takes off for the gas and a lottery ticket for me then went into the barn and forgot me up there I screamed and screamed for him and 20 min later he opens the door and screams WHAT I said I want to get down! lol boy we are a pair π
LOL! π
Looks very nice but I am not sure it is fun to be in it π
π Yes snow and I with these injuries no longer go together
Have a wonderful Christmas and please get someone to help with the shoveling! It looks like it’s going to be a COLD & SNOW winter… Blessings to you and your, Eunice. Bette
Thanks Bette He sees me safely up then uses the machine to blow it from where I dump it we work as a team till he forgets me up there π We have no extra cash to have someone do all of this besides they would ruin my new roof π
Merry Christmas though I will see you on Facebook before the big day π HUGS
Looks like quite a challenge. Just don’t overdo it.
So glad I called off surgery and took the shot to get through it looks like it will be a snowy winter
Cool view! But you are right…you have to get that heavy white stuff off if you want to have a roof over your head!

It is now 11:15 PM headed up to shovel pathway for dog and birds in AM we got another 8 in out there bring on the 40’s and 50’s I say! π
I’ve had photos from friends in Rockport where I’m told there is about 18″ of snow. This is the first time in 10 years we’ll not go during the holidays, and I’m already missing it.
Be careful on that roof, girl!
Will do and yes at least 18 in last 2 days π¦ pretty but costly to remove it. I pay with body parts but I am strong and not alone him and I can moan after being at it since 6 AM π
ANOTHER EIGHT INCHES! well! I have never even seen that much snow, let alone that much snow on TOP of TWELVE!.. What a great idea to take your camera up on top of the roof with you! I want to see that view again in the spring.. c
I know right! π I hope to be even healthier after surgery so I may just go sit up there suntan, shoot pictures and read π Today a Bald Eagle flew over me and tonight a possum in the yard it is a wild worl here.
wow, eagles.. brilliant.. c
and I had a shovel and not the camera π
Hmm, we need to work on your equipment list, though a shovel is very useful, it is not good for taking photos! c
you know it for sure π I thought it was coming in to land and try to feed on my tiny birds but thankfully he was soaring full speed ahead π
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… βCurt
Man with 18″ on the ground and huge snowbanks yes it is but now it is raining, 40 degrees here but up north horrible icing starting I am glad I got the roof cleared 2 x’s too heavy with rain top of fresh powder π
