Well some of you know I garden and others know I joined the local garden club and helped make a few corners pretty here is an update on that part of my life.
This past Sunday we held a Plant Sale to raise money and to get others to add pretty flowers to their landscapes. Let me show you what we had.
You can not be seen any better in out town on a Sunday morning unless you were signing in church.
We had Perennials and Mums that were not quite open yet just enough to show what color they were going to be.
See just beginning to show their beautiful blooms.
We planted 4 in two of our intersections and two at the town hall, three at the Safety Complex, and just three at the intersection close to my home since that one was so full of color already.
This is one of two planters that sit at the top of the stairs leading into our small towns Town Hall. Pretty work our member did. Remember there are just 5 of us and all part-time.
We are loving how they are filling in and are praying this winters snow plows do not destroy all of our hard work.
Hope you live in a town with a garden club who does things like this to make it special. We just have 3 corners done so far but that’s not bad for 1 year and all that digging and re-planting and part timers.

Sales were steady for the 3 hours we held it next time a Sat. morning and not a Sunday and try to do it before everyone else
s sales maybe pop them into a warm covered area to get them to bloom before the other garden clubs plants do. Thanks we all had fun and the buyers loved what we had.

As active as 5 middle aged woman can be 🙂 we make up for youth with PASSION 🙂
