We Headed Out For A Free Show

We woke early to get ready to attend.  We took the truck and dropped of the dog with my Mom.  She was very sad and didn’t really want to see us go.  I knew she would be safe for a few hours with Mom and it was time for me to have some fun after the last week I had just been through. I had it planned down to the minute as we would drive 22 miles from Mom’s then catch one bus then catch yet another and a short walk would put us front and center of 1325 Commonwealth Avenue a place the band had called home and where they actually wrote a few hits.  I am talking about old friends from long ago you know them as Aerosmith.  So let mew show you some photos of a beautiful day we spent with them at a free concert they set up for us their FANS.

Waiting for the first bus

Flatbed Trailers full of Speakers, for the show, parked along the road ready to go.  They never broke them down!

They came in like our sports stars do in Boston, well they are ROCK STARS!
By DUCK BOATS.
They brought friends and family too.

They were going back home to where they had started this journey.

I have to tell you about some friends.  MR. Kraft and his Son who are owners of our NFL Football Team The New England Patriots!

They brought Footballs for each of the band members.  Game Balls.

Best of all they brought our Quarterback, I am sure you have heard of him lol Tom Brady.  The band had made a new track for them to use while on the field when they play.

When we arrived there may have been a thousand of us early birds.

We were up pretty close to the entrance of their old place.

One rig was for them to perform from the other two of these trailers loaded with speakers one for each side of this section of street.  They said there could be 100,000

of us fans show up.  I think they said it was more like 30,000 I can’t say as we were shoulder to shoulder dancing and screaming for MORE!

It was a cool day as you can see but Steven Tyler took of his coat and asked us to do the same.  I had dressed in layers so my light jacket was already tied around my waist but

boyfriend said we were nuts and he chose to stay bundled up.

TV and Radio stations were everywhere

Police too, but it was a party they really were not needed. They were loving the show as well,  even helicopters hovered above to take it all in.

There is always one in the crowd who never thinks of who they may be blocking so before they took her down they passed her their cameras

Steven Tyler turns to include all the college student who have gathered along the ground in front of their old place on Comm Ave

They shot us with cannons full of confetti they part was over it was time to send them back on tour as the following day TODAY their new album dropped

A sea of rockers as you can see and this doesn’t really show much at all as they had started to disperse from that end.

The Roadies break it down, sure wish they had had room for a piano we really wanted to hear DREAM ON maybe next time

A very orderly crowd

As you can see we were very well protected

Never been so glad to see our truck sitting and waiting for us safe and sound.  Time to get in and go see Mom and our little pup JT

Wish you could have joined us for the show.

Catch them when they come to your town they will have you rocking all night long!

Peace

    1. We usually attend at least one a year but last year we skipped and did all that camping for him to get Gold from the rivers and streams. Yesterday was a day I picked he chose to Tag Along lol knew I could get into too much trouble seeing these Bad Boys lol

  1. Clive, who’s more into music than I am, has just been playing me songs from ‘Young lust’ including ‘Dream on’ (the one you wanted to hear) ‘Love in an elevator’, ‘I don’t want to miss a thing’ and ‘Dude (looks like lady)’. He likes ‘My fist your face’ – you can see what sort of a man I’m married to! 🙂

I can well understand why you’d get such a good atmosphere …

    1. NICE! Great Songs! Hope you liked them 🙂

My fist your face lol not so good 🙂

  2. Yeah for you – looks like it was cold outside, but worth it! Loved how people handed the blocker-girl their cameras! Nice to see an urban environment, been too many years since we’ve gotten a little “culture.”
    thanks for the pics, Eunice.
